Snappy, you will be missed very much. But I knew when we had that talk at Arnolds that you were ready because dad said the same thing to me before he passed. You lived a long and good life. My Dad and I thought the world of you (you are one hell of a man). I send my blessings to your family.

    Love Always

    Grandpa Bob,
Hated to see you go but hated watching you suffer and watching grandma and the kids lose you. My first two memories of you were eating corn on cob for the first time at your kitchen table and you scaring me with those damn teeth of yours….guess those are two reasons to keep my natural ones (so I can eat my corn on the cob and not scare the crap out of my grandchildren). Love you Bob! Thanks for setting an example for us to work hard to take care of ours. You were such an amazing man.

My prayers and condolences goes out to Bob’s family. He was a very sweet and nice man. I didn’t know him well but heard stories about him often from my late stepfather Mike Laker, my mother Debbie Laker and Uncle Dave Carnahan. He will be sorely missed.

We did not get to see you very often but our love was still there for you. We last seen you at Momma’s funeral, your sister Mae. You were a real trooper being there for the funeral considering how much pain you were in. Your Nephew Moose passed away on the 9th of July in 2001. Your Sister left on the 9th of November and we all believe in our hearts that they both came to take you home. You are at peace now and we hope that you will look over all of your family and friends and see that we are on the right path. Tell Mosse and Momma we said hello and send our Love.
    Love John and Rosemary

I just saw you 8 months ago at my Mom ( your sister Mae) funeral. I know after watching the suffering that you both had to indure at the end, that you have to be in a better place now. Tell my Mom hi.

    My i share a poem?
God looked around his garden, and found an empty place,He then looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face.He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest,Gods garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best, he knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain, he knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered “Peace be Thine” It broke our hearts to lose you but you didnt go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

God Bless to the entire Snapp family

    Hey Pop!
I know you said not to miss you, but I can’t help it, I do. Went to breakfast Sunday it was hard knowing you wouldn’t be sitting in that chair waiting for your good-morning kiss from Tina and I. I love you dad and I know your up in heaven where you can relax and feel good as you so deserve. Mom is doing good, and your party at Bonnie’s was wonderful. Budweiser made a beautiful poster with your picture in it with your Dale Jr jacket on it was awsome. The Hilltop is having a party in your memory Saturday. You are so loved Pop! I’ll talk at you later.
    Love You Always & Forever,
    Vickie

George and myself are very sorry for your loss. George always enjoyed messing with Bob and catching him off guard. I was coming to the services both at the funeral home and at Bonnie’s. I missed the funeral home because I just plain forgot. Neither George or PD reminded me. I was wondering why PD was in a dress shirt. I could still of come if he had mentioned it because it was only 7pm. The reason I did not make it to Bonnie’s was because my favorite Aunt had been in the Martinsville Hosp. for two weeks and then she passed on July 25. and then I helped with the arrangements. She had no children and it was up to some of us cousin’s. Come to think of it I was probably at the hosp. when Bob’s showing took place. Enough about excuses, I just wanted you to know that I wouldn’t of missed for nothing. I enjoyed every minute I spent with him and will always kept a place in my heart for him. God Bless.

    Hi Dad!

Two years ago today, Linda, Tina and I set there at your bedside, as you took you last breath. Oh how I miss you daddy. I found a video Christmas 2000, and on it your talking to me, you say Hi Babe!, so now when I need to hear that voice I just put it on and there you are. Just wish I good hug you, but I know one day I will and it will be for eternity. Love you and miss our Sunday breakfast’s.

    Love,
    Vickie
